Connected to clients to photograph various categories ranging from weddings, family shoots, branding, headshots, and product shoots to capture people's stories, joy, life moments, or big ideas. I spend any time without a camera at my hip editing photos at From The Hip Headquarters. I am proficient in Adobe Lightroom and can edit up to 3-4 shoots a day.

Edited photos on Adobe Lightroom for From the Hip Photo three days a week. Accompanied photographers on photo sessions to learn, second shoot, and assist with any additional needs. From The Hip offered me a full time roll after completing the internship.

Trained and certified to deliver Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatment 1:1 to patients of various backgrounds and cultures. Discussed goal setting, gratitude, and other treatment tips to help improve patients experience. Worked collectively with a team of providers, office staff, registered nurses, and other technicians to advocate for patients health and treatment experience. Helped patients take back their life from mental illness.

Temporary caregiver at memory care home throughout beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cared for elderly residents on the night shift. Preformed rounds to ensure resident safety and health. Talked with and formed relationships with residents. Meal prepped for following day and cleaned facilities.

Assigned to a team of 4 to help with data collection, measurements, data entry, and analysis for the Pohnpei Non-Communicable Disease Hybrid survey. Following the survey, I created an implementation evaluation of the survey to help increase efficiency for the follow-up survey that will take place in a few more years. The mission of the hybrid survey was to collect data on the nutrition, mental health, physical measurements, and general health data to understand the cause of high non-communicable disease rates among Pohnpei's population and all of the Pacific Islands. From this survey the Department of Health Services plans to create public health prevention and education efforts that better address nutrition and overall well-being of the islands population. I helped design public health education posters for an NCD prevention summer camp. I attended meetings with various members of the Pohnpei state public health department and gained an understanding of the structure and workings within the department and the various programs.

Worked with a twenty person team of students to welcome 800+ international students to the UA during the fall international orientation. Focused on bridging cultures between international and domestic students to create a welcoming environment. Lead campus tours, lead students to orientation sessions, and worked help desks in dorms to assist international students transition. Engaged in globally relevant conversations and used cultural competence training to create relationships with international students. Will continue with the group throughout the year to coordinate the Buddy Program, and advocate for study abroad in classrooms on campus.
