Muse Machine is a nonprofit arts education organization that creates arts-integrated programs for teachers to incorporate in their classrooms. During my internship, I was able to experience many aspects of the organization:- Trained and worked with Raiser's Edge Fundraising and Constituent Relationship Management software- Created media blasts, newsletters, donation requests, and various marketing, PR, and social media materials- edited documents for content and grammatical errors which were then used for both internal and external communication purposes- Successfully contributed in both independent and collaborative work settings

ETHOS is an internship/scholarship program within the University of Dayton and stands for Engineers in Technical Humanitarian Opportunities of Service. Because of the overwhelming success of the ETHOS program, opportunities were offered to a select few business students who were looking to take their skills to developing nations and partner with engineering students to spread their knowledge and make a difference. I spent ten weeks in Sabana Grande, Nicaragua working with a Women's Cooperative called Grupo Fenix. I worked with the women of Grupo Fenix to market their solar-powered cookers to businesses. I also worked on several other projects during my internship, including:- Collaborated with another intern to develop lesson plans and co-teach general business classes to students ages 8-15 in the village of Sabana Grande, Nicaragua- Successfully developed and implemented a micro-finance project- Developed marketing brochure to raise awareness and generate interest for the products produced by the local Women's Cooperative - Suni Solar
