Founded and grew charter school network from a single site school serving 68 scholars to a three school network serving approximately 1,000 children. Achievement Prep is an award winning, high-performing, college-preparatory public charter school network located in Southeast Washington, DC. The flagship middle school, which opened in 2008, serves approximately 500 scholars in fourth through 8th grades. The elementary school, which opened in 2013, serves approximately 400 scholars in kindergarten through third grades. In 2016, the network expanded the elementary school to serve 160 preK3 and preK4 scholars. Achievement Prep’s mission is to prepare students to excel as high-achieving scholars and leaders in high school, college and beyond. Achievement Prep plans to continue its impact by adding additional schools in Washington, DC.
