The Purpose of the Order of the Golden Brahman is to recognize and develop influential leaders of their communities and future advocates of the University of South Florida who are passionate about the advancement of this Institution. Each director brings a unique perspective to the Board that helps determine the best course for the organization. Board members make policy decisions that establish how the Association operates in fulfilling its mission of serving the 290,000 USF graduates. Directors are asked to work with the University leadership in advising them of the alumni perspective on key issues, serve as ambassadors for the organization in their workplaces and communities and participate in Board meetings, committee meetings and other Association and University events.The members of the Board are covered by an insurance policy (Directors and Officers insurance) for decisions made by the Board. The Association has also purchased liability insurance for all of its events.

•Oversaw the restructuring of three student government agencies - Managed the planning, budgeting, and purchasing which provided greater access to students.• Served on the system wide tech fee committee and successfully negotiated funding for pivotal student projects such as the syllabus bank and relaunch of the outdated student app.• Served on the tech committee that garnered funding for the school’s first ever ESports program which aimed to use this medium to improve and promote male student success.• Inaugurated as the first ever Student Body presidential ticket to not only have the highest amount of voter turnout but also the first to serve for two terms.• Evolved the culture of student government from the ground up to promote comradery and productivity. This resulted in a record number of initiatives being completed in a short period of time.• Negotiated for funding for the creation of the first ever physical representation of historically black organizations on campus, which led to the establishment of the National Panhellenic Plaza.

Usf Alumni Association

Founded in 1979 and endorsed by the USF Alumni Association, the Ambassadors are the official student representatives for the USF system. USF Ambassadors work directly with President Judy Genshaft by attending presidential sponsored events and interacting with prominent alumni, donors and community stakeholders. As a student organization, the USF Ambassadors are also a close, family-oriented group of students who strive to improve USF and embody our legacy as "The Spirit of USF."My Role • Host events for the University that are coordinated by the President’s office• Participate in 10 community service events per year around the Tampa Bay area• Organized leadership conference for approximately 10-20 student leaders• Mentored K-12 students weekly

The 15 member USF System Presidential Search Committee was created in September 2018, following the announcement of President Judy Genshaft’s intention to retire effective July 1, 2019.Search committee members were tasked with creating a job description for the prospective candidates. Search committee members also selected the top 4 candidates to be interviewed by both the search committee and the Board of Trustees. I served as the sole student representative on this committee.

We now provide a full range of care including counseling & treatment, housing, employment services, help for Veterans and their families, and other support to men and women in our community.
