 Prepare project documentation including but not limited to job safety, quality & environmental plans, procurement lists, methodology statements, works programs and plant & manning requirements. Meet time, cost & quality requirements whilst managing communications, risk assessment, procurement & cross coordination of project.  Ensure compliance with project plans & adherence to program requirements. Ensure adherence to all OH&S policies, procedures & Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). Ensure the compliance of all Quality Management Systems on project. Sub-contractor management. Liaise with Government Departments for all project related works. Contract management in accordance to General & Specific conditions of contract. Drive continuous & consistent improvement in construction process.  Review of project with regards to time, cost, OH&S and quality parameters & documenting & reporting to senior management. Developing & mentoring project team.

 Heading a team of contractors/engineers to carry out planning & execution of various civil structures like 275m high triple flue RCC Chimney, various machine foundations/columns/slabs, roads, drains, culverts & major earthworks. Managing & monitoring sub-contractor performance in accordance to the project program. Drive continuous improvement and consistency in construction process within the Civil discipline of the Unit. Coordinating with other disciplines of engineering process like mechanical, electrical to converge to the final delivery of project as a whole. Inspecting/auditing of works carried out by sub-contractors. Evaluating sub-contractor claims & reviewing variations. Interpreting drawings, plans & Specifications, and providing technical inputs on Construction Methods & procedures. Contract management in accordance with General & Special Conditions of Contract of concerned sub-contractors. Establishing project schedules & budgets. Monitoring & controlling daily, weekly & monthly progress and reporting. Ensuring conformity with specifications and plans, and with laws, regulations & OH&S standards. Ensuring engineering standards of Quality, cost, OH&S, timeliness & performance are maintained. Documenting & reporting to Senior Management.

 Planning, scheduling and construction management of high end commercial space interior fit-outs. Estimation of quantities, preparing rate comparatives, budget preparation and control. Study and interpret the BOQ’s and manage sub-contractors on site. Coordinating with other verticals like MEP & IT services. Providing assistance to senior managers in terms of technical inputs on tenders & bids. Monitoring & controlling daily, weekly & monthly progress. Coordinating between client, architect, consultants and vendors for all agencies to finalize design issues, material specifications and activity schedules to ensure completion of project within stipulated cost and time parameters and achieving required quality. Coordinating with suppliers to streamline material management, verifying measurements and billing of works, claims and variations, ensuring all legal, council and labour compliances by all vendors including OH&S. Acting as single point of contact for clients for all issues related to billing, project execution and maintenance.

 Study all structural drawings and prepare a work methodology statement and get it approved from consultants to carry out work. Planning, coordinating and execution of all site activities including survey, bulk earthworks, RCC cast in-situ piles, pile caps, piers, pier caps, pedestal & bearings, void slabs, sub-grade preparation for bitumen roads. Prepare bar bending schedules for all structures. Liaise with consultants & sub-contractors for all activities to ensure all work is done in concurrence to the specifications, Quality assurance plan & council OH&S policies for the project. Prepare all site Measurement Books. Evaluating sub-contractor claims & reviewing variations. Manage all resources including men and material for completion of project in stipulated time. Maintaining all required documents for internal and ISO audits.
