CurrentHPE – iLO (BMC) System Management Firmware Development.iLO (Integrated Lights Out) is a remote server management processor embedded on the system boards of HPE ProLiant servers and Synergy compute modules. iLO enables the monitoring and controlling of servers from remote locations. iLO provides multiple ways to configure, update, monitor, and repair servers remotely.Involved in the development of DMTF - PMCI (Platform Management Components Intercommunications) stack on iLO platform. The PMCI work-group is defining a set of protocols that can be used for communications between the platform components such as iLO and Network adapters, Storage adapters, Hard Drives, and GPU.Involved in the following activities:1. Development of MCTP, PLDM RDE and PLDM firmware update protocols.2. Fixing issues and stabilizing MCTP protocol stack, PLDM protocol stack.3. Driving different vendors to adapt to PLDM stack for management of Network/Storage adapters from iLO. 4. root-caused and fixed issues in various software modules.5. Handled multiple factory issues and brought them to closure6. Handled multiple IPS issues for different customers and brought them to closure.7. Involved in Code review, updating design document. 8. Hands on experience on analysis of I2C and PCIE snoop for MCTP protocol.
