Participate in agency business planning as a member of the senior management team. Work with senior management to develop financial plans and projections. Represent the organization to financial institutions, auditors and funders. Accounting & Administration: Ensure proper maintenance of appropriate internal controls, finance procedures, accounting systems and functions.Ensure timely, accurate, and useful financial management and reporting for federal/state funders, foundations, board and appropriate staff.Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.Coordinate audits/financial reviews.Ensure proper filing of all tax returns.Ensure timely and accurate processing of annual 1099 Forms.Oversee management of agency’s capital & equipment.Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.Plan and direct the agency’s accounting and other business functions.Prepare annual operating budget in consultation with executive team, and program directorsOversee agency’s payroll preparation and related fringe benefits.Oversight of corporate insurance policies.Oversee invoicing and fiscal compliance for federal/state funding.Oversee bookkeeping for Santa Maria Properties, LLCProvide staff support to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
