Sharika Sadaf has 10 years of experience in Program Design, Project & Process Management, Communications, Partnerships and Venture Building. She is studying Interdisciplinary Studies in Human-Centred Design at Algonquin College. She is also working as a Research Assistant for Social Procurement & Enterprise Development (SPEnD) project at the Social Innovation Lab at Algonquin College. Sharika serves as the Co-founder & Director of Partnerships at Studio Dorset, a film production company in Bangladesh.She completed her graduation in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from North South University. She started her career in the creative, media & film industry in 2013 as a Content Creator and Manager for local and global brands and later joined Bongo (Bongo Stellar Digital Limited), the first Video On Demand platform, which is now the biggest Multi Channel Network for YouTube in Bangladesh. She helped design and was in charge of BioscopeLive.com, a Video On Demand platform by Bongo in partnership with Grameen Phone Bangladesh. She was also in charge of the content library of 12 territories in Asia, Middle East and Africa, and led international operations in 4 international offices as Project Manager for International Operations. In 2018, she co-founded Studio Dorset and led the production of various music videos, documentations, documentaries and adverts. Her keen interest in humanitarian causes led her to shift industries in the developmental sector and worked as a Program and Communications Manager at Save and Serve Foundation before joining YY Ventures Limited in 2020.At YY Ventures Limited, she was responsible for designing, managing and organising all programs and associated entrepreneurship activities as the Head of Programs & Partnerships. Apart from managing programs, she helped build teams for the company and developed processes for various projects for web development, conferences and global campaigns in her tenure of one and a half years at YY.
