Brian Sharkey is a manager in both the Insights for Innovation and Litigation Support practice areas of Applied Marketing Science (AMS).Brian has experience managing quantitative and qualitative B2C and B2B market research projects. As a manager, he is responsible for the day to day operations and execution of projects.For Insights for Innovation, Brian handles all aspects of project execution, including the design of questionnaires and discussion guides, analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, and the development of final reports and presentations. He specializes in managing operations for Voice of the Customer, conjoint analysis, maximization differential scaling (MaxDiff) and IDEALYST™ projects.Brian also manages day-to-day operations for Litigation Support projects involving trademark and trade dress confusion, deceptive advertising, patent infringement and class certification.Brian’s research experience spans many industries—including medical devices, consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods, industrial products and manufactured goods—using a variety of marketing science methodologies.Brian was born and raised in the great state of New Hampshire and currently resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife and newborn daughter. Brian is a self-professed sports junkie and is especially passionate about basketball. After graduating from Carleton College, Brian played basketball for a semi-professional club, UCD Marian, in Ireland’s top professional league. While Brian and his wife are avid travelers, they are happiest when swimming in the lakes and ponds of New Hampshire, and they can’t wait to introduce their daughter to the joys of swimming.Brian holds a B.A. in English from Carleton College in Minnesota, and both an M.B.A. and an M.S. in sports management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.
