Vista Group (NZSX & ASX: VGL), provides software and technology solutions across the global film industry sectors of distribution, exhibition, and the end consumer, moviegoers. I advise Vista Group companies across a wide variety of commercial, data protection and IP and strategic matters.

Content is at the heart of what Sky does. My role in the Content and Commercial legal team involved providing commercially focused advice in relation to acquiring rights and licensing content, and the exploitation and protection of those rights.

Sky is the UK’s biggest spender on traditional advertising and has an innovative and expanding product set. During my time in the Consumer, Sales and Marketing legal team, I was responsible for advising and supporting the Sky sales and marketing team on marketing campaigns, data protection, consumer product / proposition development, consumer and commercial contracts, and strategic projects.

New Zealand Post is New Zealand’s largest postal and goods distribution services provider. (Equivalent to Royal Mail, but still 100% state owned.) During my 4-month contract at NZ Post I provided general legal advice to business units within the NZ Post group, managed external legal providers and reported to the general counsel.

Russell McVeagh is a top tier law firm in New Zealand. I trained and qualified at Russell McVeagh and worked concurrently in the litigation team and corporate advisory group, providing legal advice to New Zealand companies across various industries, including the oil and gas, electricity, insurance and rail industries.
