Working as a Swimming teacher, pool manager and admin support.

I am a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher. I qualified in 1991, yes I know I don't look old enough! Former tutor for 8 years with the ASA and qualified as an RLSS Trainer/Assessor. I have an ASA Adult and Child qualification and have written a CPD which the ASA added to their library. I also qualified as a BSAC snorkel instructor. I have also completed Flip'n'Fun Diving CPD, Sychro and Water Polo top up CPDs.I have managed a Swim school (2000+ children a week) for a large leisure provider and have overseen new contracts and converted local schemes to Swim England awards schemes and provided support and training for existing colleagues. In recent years I have taken a step away from the corporate world and have been teaching for a local swim school provider, where I play an active role in teaching, pool managing and provide admin support.In the past few months I have completed the STA CPD in ILSP Assessment Standards Programme, Additional Needs and Inclusivity CPD and School Swimming Academy CPD. I have also completed the IOS Deaf Friendly Swimming and Visual Impairment Friendly Swimming CPDs. I am currently working towards a SEN diploma, Level 4. Show less
