I have been working since I was 16 years old. My first job was at the Burger Chief in Acworth, GA. I cashiered and prepared food and drinks. After I graduated from high school I attended Kennesaw State University where I took courses to get my degree in Social Science. While I went to school I also worked for Dunaway Drugstore. I was in The French Club and enjoyed various activities with my colleagues. I worked selling Avon until I got a job at a dress shop called Mariannes at the mall. I got a job at Scientific Columbus where I worked building printed circuit boards. My supervisor noticed I made few mistakes and I became a line inspector. I learned to inspect other meters that were built there including final inspection of the SC-10 meter before it was shipped. I became supervisor of the inspection department where I trained all of the inspectors in my group. I got a job working at Healthdyne building Oxygen Concentrators. I then got a job at Lockheed where i was a wiring fabricator in C-130 mock-up. I applied for a job manufacturing wiring harnesses in C-5B. Lockheed sent me to school to learn how to perform my new job. I worked there until I was laid off in 1988.We moved back to Columbus, Ohio where I began to work at Walgreens.where I cashiered and stocked the shelves..We moved back to Acworth, GA where I worked for Kroger's and Publix as a cashier. I got a job working at Costco as stocker/merchandiser, membership, member service, front-end cashier/cashier asst. I no longer work for Costco and am interested in an exciting change in my career path.
