ASU Alumni Law Group is a unique not-for-profit law firm, created to train new lawyers while helping our community gain access to legal services at reduced rates. The ASU Alumni Law Group is made up of experienced lawyers who have a passion for mentoring the next generation of lawyers. Modeled after the concept of a teaching hospital, the ASU Alumni Law Group hires recent law graduates from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. The associates spend between two to three years learning how to practice quality law under the close supervision of senior lawyers who also oversee each associate’s case work to ensure that it meets the ASU Alumni Law Group’s high standards.The ASU Alumni Law Group provides a wide range of legal services for individuals and small businesses. Employment and Probate Attorney Representation of clients in all facets of employment law, from counseling to drafting employment handbooks and employment agreements to litigation, with a particular emphasis in prevention of employment related disputes. Assist employers in complying with federal, state and local laws, developing internal mechanisms for dispute resolution and training of supervisors in appropriate and effective management. Handle employment litigation, arbitration and mediation in cases involving whistle-blowing, negligent hiring and supervision, intentional infliction of emotional distress, disability, age, gender and racial discrimination and sexual harassment claims. Also, handle litigation involving restrictive covenants, trade secrets, probate, and vulnerable adult matters. Assume lead role in all aspects of litigation including discovery, motion practice and trial.

Employment and Commercial Litigation Attorney Represented employers in employment litigation disputes, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination and workers’ compensation. Handled general commercial litigation matters.
