Responsible for educating, edifying and equipping citizens served with the tools necessary to keep themselves safe from harm and danger. Utilizing a myriad of both local and nationally based programs, Specialist Stevens leaves an indelible influence upon the communities in which she serves. Responsible for conducting Personal Safety Presentations, Community Watch Group Meetings, Home Security Surveys, Business Robbery Surveys and more. Serves as a support position to police patrol and investigations units.

Participate in the operations, services and activities of the Cumberland County Drug Treatment Court (DTC) including but not limited to; identification of potential program participants, identification of and outreach to potential community stakeholders; resolution of participant program orientation, bi-weekly DTC staffing/review sessions and program records management. Provide responsible staff assistance to the DTC; prepare and present reports (i.e., Criminal Background Checks; Department of Licensing Checks; City of Fayetteville Police Department (FPD) records checks, etc.) and other necessary correspondence related to an assigned area. Review Daily Activity Reports (DAR) of varied FPD patrol and follow-up unit (Detective) personnel, to identify potential program participants. Upon identification of said participants, contact reporting officer/detective to initiate completion of a DTC Referral Form; complete initial screening and forward to DTC Coordinator with recommendation for additional screening and/or program eligibility/suitability assessment for target population (US Military Veterans), not currently being served.
