My background consists of sales and business management, but my passion for the past 12 years has been small business ownership. While attending college, I was a sales manager for a large retail store, followed by an office manager/accounting clerk for the NC state government. Bored with sitting behind a desk, I started working for two large entertainment companies as a top sales producer and trained staff for locations all over NC, SC, Florida, and NYC. I learned a lot during these years about business management and ownership, and decided to invest in a business, successfully contributing to the growth of a small town idea that turned into a large corporation in the auto industry. During this time I also bought an existing tanning salon that I made profitable in the Cary area, until cancer and an unexpected divorce turned my life upside down. As a now single mom and cancer survivor, I decided to combine my contract sales abilities with my passion for cleaning and improvement, and founded SJS Custom Cleaning. My focus is on commercial contract sales for offices and property management companies.We specialize in custom commercial cleaning, full turns, and new construction/ remodeling cleans, but also have a residential cleaning department.
