I have over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. My experience is broad, covering the payor, provider, employer and policy segments. My passion is bringing creativity and a strong customer focus to my employer in a Product Management/Strategy role.My successes have been achieved through my ability to identify market trends, user and buyer needs and turn those needs into workable, useable analytics. Bringing the analytics to life has become a reality through my ability to deliver software requirements to the entire team and provide leadership to bring products from concept to launch.One of my greatest strengths is the ability to successfully communicate very complex and technical concepts to buyers using everyday language and analogies. This skill has led to many successful sales of software and/or services. I have accomplished this through my knowledge of industry trends, my history of working with C-Suite level individuals and the ability to build strong relationships.Most recently, I was responsible for managing 6 products marketed to large payors, both commercial and Medicaid, and to large hospital systems or IDN’s. These products provided predictive analytics for identifying patients for care management intervention, physician performance management in an inpatient and outpatient setting using episode profiling and user portals. These products included quality metrics defined by HEDIS, AHRQ, TJC and many other organizations.Throughout my career I have had unique opportunities to experience market changes before they became common place. My career led me to build Population Health Management tools before the term was the current buzzword. I was tasked with building healthcare analytics providing cost management information for 140 networks in 38 states. Our organization managed the health care dollar within a record single digit increase for some of the largest self-insured employers in the country.
