Lumo Bodytech is a motion science company that combines sensor data and advanced algorithms to optimize human movement for better health, performance, and injury prevention. Current Lumo Bodytech products include the Lumo Lift posture coach as well as the Lumo Run smart running sensor.I performed use case and regression testing for each new iOS application build across all generations of Apple devices to ensure proper functionality and compatibility with the wearable device. When bugs were identified, I worked closely with the developers to issue a fix. I also leveraged SQL to query our cloud database of user data to cross-check accuracy of results.I improved the refurbishment process by implementing a formal structure for logging, testing, storing and checking out returned sensors. This gave Lumo visibility into the defect rate and root cause of return, whether attributed to sensor malfunction or user error.
