Develop and lead projects for the new Live Blue Service Initiative - an innovative volunteer program designed to connect adults throughout the Greater Boston area with the Aquarium and local environmental issues. This program is designed for those who want to volunteer with the Aquarium but may be unable to make a weekly commitment. We partner with area agencies and bring volunteers to field service events such as beach cleanups, setting up/taking down fencing to protect piping plover nest sites, and removing invasive water chestnuts from the Charles River.Also serve as a Turtle Emergency Response Volunteer, assisting with all aspects of care for cold stunned turtles treated at the Aquarium's facility in Quincy.

Spent one year as a Marine Mammal volunteer to gain husbandry experience.

We provide volunteers to assist performing arts teachers and help fund items to help the performing arts department. POPS is a 501(c)3 organization.

Oversaw staff in 4 nationwide offices who evaluated and audited the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's activities related to resolving the savings and loan crisis. We issued periodic reports to management with recommendations for improving controls and operations and prepared an annual report to the Congress regarding our audits.
