• Setting up raw material on the machine table using a vice and set clamp set.• loading and editing program in the CNC milling machine as per set up sheet.• Making required tools by accurately checking tool diameter,Tool material and tool wear as per set up sheet.• Carefully measuring part dimensions using a variety of measuring tools such as Vernier calliper, Micrometer, Dial indicator, Depth guage, height guage, Go and No go guage, Guage Block set, etcetera.• Machining parts to desired tolerance by adjusting wear offset.• Deburring machined parts and checking tapped holes for jag screws before sending parts for heat treatment.• Saw cutting raw material using Horizontal and vertical band saws.• Changing tool inserts during roughing on milling machines.• Cleaning chips from machine and shop floor after shift finishes.• Regularly checking way lubricant and coolant levels and wiping up machine on weekly basis.Also,• Grinding parts to final size after heat treatment and preparing them for EDM cut.• Operating EDM wire cutting machine and Sandblasting finished jobs.Apart form this,Operating Fork Lift and Overhead crane to load and Unload fixtures and parts on machine table.
