Devops and Cloud Engineer• Built a tool, Infra-Genie, to provide “Deployment as a service” and “Test as a service” CD, CT chain to 150+ org members. Infra-Genie has On-demand jobs to provision VMs with customized solutions or products for each of the teams. On-demand test triggering and monitoring is also available. The technology used: - ReactJS, Spring boot, Java, WebSocket, REST API, MySQL, Jenkins, Ansible.• Created several Jenkins Pipeline jobs for continuous delivery of build artifacts, continuous testing of container builds in a Kubernetes environment and also infrastructure creation. • Worked on pipelines to perform static code analysis as well as code coverage on SonarQube.• Intensely involved in containerization of an entire bare-metal product and successful deployment of these micro-services onto the public cloud. This involved writing Dockerfiles, fashioning deployments and services, creating helm charts, exposing services etc.,• Hands-on experience in creating ElasticSearch, FluentD and Kibana stacks for container logging purposes.• Worked on bare-metal load balancers such as HAProxy and MetalLB. Integrated those with Ingress controllers to have a public cloud experience in a local Kubernetes set-up.• Worked on the GitOps CD tool, ArgoCD, to perform an automated application deployment, hence providing instant feedback on the recent git repo check-ins.
