As an IT Manager i had the challenging role in implementing a centralized IT system which integrates all five branches and also a centralized call center for customer ordering. My key achievements in this role were• Implementation of two mirroring Servers which can fail over upon Hardware failure. This was achieved by virtualizing the servers with VMware Esxi Fault tolerance.• Implementation of a VPN (Virtual Private Network) solution which can interconnect all five branches with the Head office.• Implementation of a centralized software solution which can integrate all sales data from the branches to the Head office through the VPN.• Implementation of a backup VPN that can fail over automatically in case the primary goes down.• Migration of the old system to the centralized system.• Implementation of a centralized call center for customers where the customer orders will directly print from the call center to the relevant branch.• Implementation of a website with the integration of an online customer ordering system with payment gateway.• Configure and install Windows server operating systems on all branches and linking them all through the VPN.• Implementation of a centralized Antivirus server to manage all the branches from the Head Office.• Implementation of an Intranet site for the employees.
