As an Intern in the supply chain department for shop.mensxp.com, my responsibilities were mainly to:1) Understand the order dispatch process.2) Check order issues and the supply lines and update the senior management on the same3) Understand consumer patterns such as drop off at the checkout page and reaching out to them4) Customer ticket resolutions5) Day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc projects on excel

From keeping a set of individuals highly motivated to Managing day-to-day operations, to tracking month-long timelines; Being a team manager for such an auspicious organisation embedded in me the importance of organisational development, organisational culture and taught me how result-oriented work is carried out.

Ensuring that organizational legacy is carried forward, the recruitment of new college members is extremely important. Have interviewed somewhere around 500+ students over a course of 5 recruitments. Besides this, managed the growth curve of around 50+ students and ensured their development.

Raising and managing funds is of extreme importance in a resource-intensive project. Promotional leverage is also important in a work-intensive environment such that team members never feel that their achievements are not getting enough external attention.

Efficiency and serviceability are the key areas of development for a Formula Racecar drivetrain. Besides this, understanding the manufacturability and performance delivery of the vehicle is also equally important. Both goals were met over the course of a year while working in this department by designing optimum logic and manufacturable, sturdy and serviceable components.

Delving into team culture and finding areas of interest within the organizations were some key challenges faced as a fresher. Active participation in down the line communication and proactive component manufacturing were the main reasons for development in this period.
