Successfully developed prototype of FANUCC assembly line robot for spot welding used in dash panels of small vehicles. The prototype was later used for internal labor training purpose and was given the highest grade in final semester of graduation.The project work done is a prototype of the robot internal circuitry on a small scale. A PLC works on the principle of collecting inputs from the field and then giving desired output based on the ladder logic. The output can be used to trigger any circuit, in the robot it is used to give a go signal to perform the weld process, while in the project it is used to switch on LEDs for easier understanding. It can also be used to trigger the valve as it is used to perform the weld process in the robotic arm. A 220VAC is supplied to the project. The power supply box rectifies and gives a 24VDC since most devices require that particular supply.
