This involved dealing with complaints in relation to packaged bank accounts, credit cards and general business on behalf of a bank. Initially involved in the complaint handling process and latterly as part of the quality control team.

Dealing with all aspects of complaints against ICAEW members referred through for investigation. Including complaints generated by clients, other members, other regulators and internally generated by ICAEW. Reporting the outcome of inquiries in the form of a closure request or formal report.Administering the Assigned Risks Pool, a facility operated by ICAEW that enabled members to obtain professional indemnity insurance when this was unavailable from the general insurance market.

Involved in the development and servicing of the company's UK portfolio. Including considering quantum and liability issues in connection with commercial crime and professional indemnity claims. Reporting finding to insurers and negotiating settlement where appropriate.Significant exposure to pension and endowment miss-selling including undertaking assurance reviews of work undertaken by banks, insurance companies and independent financial advisors.

In charge of all aspects of a portfolio of over 250 professional clients. Specialised in accountants'professional indemnity insurance and fee protection insurance. Also providing input in relation to professional indemnity claims and undertaking risk reviews of existing and potential clients.
