Shauna J. Wright is a partner in the litigation section and handles a variety of civil litigation matters for businesses and individuals. She is an experienced trial attorney and has prevailed as lead counsel in over 100 jury trials. She is skilled in directing complex investigations, crisis management, and media relations.Ms. Wright is a qualified mediator and serves as a creative and diligent resource for litigants in civil disputes. With her experience, she assists clients in resolving disputes, minimizing costly litigation and risk. In the courtroom, she has a combined skill and organization, with excellent results in summary disposition and jury trials. Ms. Wright has acted as legal advisor to crime victims, governmental agencies, political bodies, the Grand Jury, nonprofit organizations and law enforcement agencies. She was formerly employed as a prosecutor for the State of Florida where she was appointed as the Director of the Clay County State Attorney's Office and the Chief of the Special Victims Unit, and handled homicide cases from investigation through trial.Ms. Wright has been invited to teach at conferences for attorneys and investigators in the areas of trial practice, trial preparation, expert testimony, crisis investigation and violence against women and children. She also serves as a legal advisor to churches on a variety of issues including child protection and is the former Pro Bono Coordinator for the firm.
