Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Gregory spent over fifteen years in the telecommunications and wireless networking industries in increasing roles of responsibility. From 2005-2009, he served as the President of Monitored Networks, LLC, a company for whom he developed security, e-commerce, and web-based applications and designed data centers. During Mr. Gregory’s time with Monitored Networks, the company specialized in network systems, unified communication, security, mobility, managed, and certified Cisco and Novell SUSE Linux training for U.S. and foreign customers. Before that, Mr. Gregory was an engineer with Qwest Communications and held positions with Verizon, IBM and Relera. As an engineer, Mr. Gregory designed and deployed storage platforms, built scalable web infrastructure solutions, and constructed wide area networks. With his deep knowledge and background in the computer science and networking fields, Mr. Gregory frequently assists clients in navigating particularly complex technologies through the patent drafting and prosecution process. He has drafted over fifty original patent applications for U.S. clients, prosecuted hundreds of other patent applications, and prepared opinions of counsel. Mr. Gregory is a Member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
