Business Analysis and Solution Design.

I joined the business consultants' team at Bravura solutions in 2015. Bravura Solutions is a provider of software solutions and services for the administration of wealth management and life insurance products with offices across 8 countries and approximately 1000 employees of which 85% of staff are developers and consultants. In my role as a business consultant, I specialized in the design and delivery of automated workflow systems to Sonata clients across New Zealand and Australia. Sonata workflow is a Bravura Solutions flagship product that provides a modelling and script-based implementation toolset that conforms to the BPMN 2.1, WfMC & XPDL standards. The workflow toolset produces a runnable, testable automated business process that is executed on a Sonata installation. Sonata workflow solutions I implemented included business critical processes used in Kiwisaver, Life Insurance and Australian Superannuation markets e.g. Straight through business processing for policy applications, premium lapses, Kiwisaver transfers, superannuation processing of payments and contributions and many more. My role in the implementation of automated workflow systems touched on all steps of the software development life cycle and included the collection of client requirements, analysis, solution design, technical implementation, quality assurance, operational planning and final roll out to the client. Close collaboration with clients, other AU and NZ consulting staff, development teams, quality assurance and infrastructure teams. In addition, automated workflow processing relies heavily on a client's chosen integration partners to complete automated payment, messaging and document management requirements to name a few, so the ability to collaborate on a technical level with a client's chosen integration partners on matters of messaging protocols, security and networking topics was always essential.
