Developer for AT&T's high-end wireless broadband custom native VPN and connection manager software for AT&T enterprise customer's: http://www.corp.att.com/agnc/My role was a principle technical lead for the cellular support in AGNC. I developed the core APIs that allowed the client to configure and control Ethernet, 802.11, cellular devices along with the network monitoring capability that allow the client AI to optimize the the users connection in real time. The network monitoring API, which was implemented as a service and was written using ATL COM in C++. This API made heavy use of the WMI network management interfaces for real time network updates and configuration. AGNC also works with other cellular carriers (GSM or CDMA) and officially suppored over 300 different devices and can support any GSM device that supports the standard GSM AT command set. It also has support for making IPSec and SSL VPN connections to the most popular VPN concentrators right out of the box. AGN client used a kernel filter driver for VPN packet-shaping (the most efficient method of shaping network traffic available on the Windows platform). The software-only drivers required to do this are also developed on my team and WHQL certified for XP, Vists, and Windows 7. One of my responsibilities was to manage the driver certification process for our team. I also actively monitor Windows Error Reports (WER) and debugged problems reported in the field and worked with Microsoft to develop user responses that MS pushed out when the same issue was later reported in the field.Handled 3rd level support most hardware issues and work very closing with our vendors' emgineers (e.g., Microsoft, Qualcom, Sierra Wireless, etc.) to determine the root cause of the issue and collaborated with them to develop timely fixed
