Responsible for tracking and reporting costs, the monthly close, the development of the annual operating plan, forecasts, and preparation of the business review cost package for the Maintenance, Environmental, and Utilities (MEU) area.

Prepared monthly cost reports on all levels of the operation: clinic, doctor, procedure. Audited charges to ensure that they were billed correctly to speed up receivables, negotiate the purchase of supplies and services savings over $100K per year. Prepared monthly managerial reports for decision making purposes.

Maintain the data warehouses that housed our financial data related to Budget, Productivity, Revenue and Expense information, our patient data related to Clinical and Demographic information, and our cost accounting data. Develop and Prepare key indicators/metrics, including Dashboards and Scorecards, cost drivers. Prepare the Capital, Labor and Operating budgets, and perform routine fixed-flexed-actual budget variances and analysis by cost center and house wide consolidation. Maintain all aspects of the Cost Accounting system including the development of statistics and cost drivers in order to determine item level costing. Monitor and document labor trends and variances in order to measure Productivity, compare to industry benchmarks, and see that Internal Standards are met.

Developed GL and account receivable billing packages, and provided billing and management services for non-automated firms. Published several commercial software packages for the distribution industry. Attended/promoted 80+ trade shows a year.

Developed packages to perform: budgeting, productivity tracking, volunteer management, fund development, QA/Utilization review, inventory tracing/charging system and managed the Y2K conversion project.
