The property book supports Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Dental Clinics (DENTAC), Veterinarian Services (VETCOM, Medical Companies, Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB), Deploying Units, and numerous pharmacies, laboratories and clinics assigned within 30 buildings located throughout the installation, and Sunny Point, NC. Responsible for Excess Reporting IAW applicable regulations. Property Book point of contact for Lateral Transfers for in service and out of service transfers for accountable property. Serves as the property trainer with technical responsibility for equipment acquisition processes, and equipment vendor pay processing. Directly assists unit Divisional PBO’s in the management of new equipment fielding documents and posting to PBUSE. Conducts detailed synchronization briefings for unit leaders and Division Staff. First line supervisor of six subordinate Property Book analysts. Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work based on the Divisions priority of support. Provides on-the-job training for newly hired personnel, and conducts regular training on key logistical tasks to improve subordinate analyst’s abilities. Maintained accountability for over 53,000 line items issued to over 130 primary hand receipt holders using the Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) STAMIS. Advise Division Materiel Management Chief of optimum readiness level of equipment and other issues. Redistributes excess equipment via cross-leveling or turn-in to wholesale supply system. Ensure availability of authorized assets, and posts requested items to unit commander’s hand receipts. Reviewed incoming directives, changes in policies, regulations, and procedures. Key Accomplishments:Developed redistribution plans sustaining equipment readiness at maximum levels during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom—improving logistics, putting into place mechanisms to sustain 130 forward-deployed units, providing pre-deployment briefings, and implementing procedures to standardize operations that enabled release of 250+ pieces of mission-essential equipment and moved 1000+ pieces of equipment per FY05 Modified Table of Organizational Equipment. Established Division Supply Specialist of Month Program and conducted countless professional development courses. Revised outdated external Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
