U.S. Director Of Project Execution
CurrentResponsible for overseeing U.S. project management/ turnkey solution business. The Director of Project Execution has direct responsibility over the project management team within US Services. This includes, but is not limited to profit and loss, execution excellence, utilization, offer development and capability expansion. The role will coordinate directly with the Operations team to ensure successful project execution1. Safety compliance for all project managers.2. Pre-order support of Sales in project definition, contract review, risk identification and mitigation, project execution process, and scope clarification, etc, through the quotation escalation process.3. Ongoing review and expansion of the order review process to ensure key factors are properly documented before order conversion (purchase order, contract, terms & conditions, risk mitigation, escalation approvals, etc)4. Continuous talent development of the project management team. Ensure a career development path and standardized training is established. Utilize the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process as the backbone of all education and process planning.5. Management of all projects over $500,000 within the US Services Operations backlog.6. Deploy standard documentation and project scheduling tools are utilized across the team.7. Drive the impact of successful project management to the team and its impact to the project, the team and the overall business. This includes, but is not limited to revenue, cashflow, subcontractor management, labor/ material cost, definition of out of scope work, and its direct impact to project margin.8. Drive execution excellence through monthly project reviews involving the team, operations, finance, and upper management.9. Communicate project risk and impacts to upper management and finance along with risk mitigation plans.10. Communicates up and down the customer chain from the C-level to the facility/ project level.
