As a software engineer and an English teacher, I combine my passion for technology and education to create impactful solutions and experiences. I graduated from California State University Monterey Bay with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and I also studied Japanese language and culture at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies for a year.I have worked as a software development engineer at California Custom Concession Trailers, where I developed a database model and a calculator tool for tracking orders and production materials, and as a software engineer intern at Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, where I collaborated with senior engineers to design a web application. In both roles, I utilized my skills in GitHub, object-oriented programming, JSON, and ReactJS. Currently, I am an assistant English teacher at ALTIA CENTRAL, where I partner with Japanese teachers to develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans. I also hold certifications in TEFL and AWS, which demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
