I am privileged to serve as the National Partner in Charge of Risk Management – Independence for KPMG U.S. In my role, I lead a multi-faceted team that is focused on providing independence guidance and technical consultations to the firm and its Audit, Tax, and Advisory professionals as a cornerstone to delivering high-quality audits to our clients and building the trust of our stakeholders.I have over 30 years of experience serving various domestic and international companies. Prior to joining Risk Management in July 2016, I was an audit partner in the consumer and technology industry groups, serving public and private companies. I have been involved with multiple equity offerings and merger and acquisition transactions. I was also a partner in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice in Berlin, Germany, where I served as a partner responsible for advising German companies subject to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations on the application of U.S. GAAP.In addition, I serve as a Baylor University Hankamer School of Business advisory board member.
