Took an opportunity to assist the Technical Support group by managing the email customer support line "GSIFIXT".Although only temporary, I have learned a great deal from this experience.I hope to put my newfound perspective to use in assisting GSI with enhancing it's customer experience.

Joined the GSI group as a draftsman / technical designer.First experiences were learning PROE and handling the DMC line and Top Dry product.

Standard Patrol officer duties and training. In addition, completed the following special areas of training: Law enforcement related Spanish, EVOC behind the wheel, Sharp shooter qualification at PTI BLE 2200, and Active shooter scenarios.Gave a short presentation to followup new hires in regards to what to expect and how to excel in the following weeks of their training at the PTI at University of Illinois, Champaign.

Part of new program to take new hires with zero CNC experience and train them in 4 weeks to run Caterpillar machinery (CNC, assembly, finishing). After the training I was placed on a cell within the 60-100 ton rear wheel line. Included a CNC lathe, multiheaded drilling machine, deburring station, grit blaster.

I was responsible for producing HVAC design layouts for a wide variety of restaurant franchisee's (BurgerKing, Applebees, Shoney's, Arby's, etc.). CADD software utilized was Autocad R14. I enjoyed the onsite evaulations and travel as well as the small office environment.
