Growing up in rural Oklahoma I always dreamed of moving and living in the "big city". Working odd jobs before and during college allowed me to gain experience, knowledge, and I got to work with great mentors who prepared me for my next phase in life. I was lucky enough to move to Seattle and after a few manager jobs at various restaurants I landed an amazing opportunity with a start-up phone wireless company that eventually morphed into Verizon Wireless. There I learned valuable skills in customer focus, management, and loved being part of a ground breaking new industry where my ideas and input were welcomed and championed. I got to work with the most amazing people and had the best mentors in the business who helped guide me on my next career path. I have since been with my current employer and it has been, and continues to be, a great place to work! As part of a new management team that led the hiring and development of a new team in Arizona, to leading new projects and team launches that started with just a small group to over 300+ employees worldwide that this has offered me ample opportunity to grow my career and interests. When I am not working, you will find me relaxing by playing my guitars, hanging with my kids, being silly with my wife, and enjoying the downtime of life.
