    I am responsible for efficiently taking care of patients in a fast pace and high traffic orthodontic office daily along with the following duties; cleaning and preparing teeth to bond brackets/attachments, fitting and cementing bands for treatment and also fitting and taking impressions for devices used during treatment, placing new or adjusted wires securely, removing all brackets/bands and cement during the de-bonding process at the end of phase I and phase II treatment, preparing teeth to bond lingual wires and bonding lingual wires bent up by myself, bonding Invisalign attachments, taking Panorex and Cephalometric x-rays throughout treatment, CT scans, placing appliances including: RPE, X-Bow, Quad Helix Expanders, Headgear, Forsus Springs to name a few. I go over Oral Hygiene and the list of foods patients should stay away from at the beginning of treatment and throughout treatment as needed, keeping and maintaining a clean and sterile work station at all times, helping maintain the sterilization room to keep our work utensils clean and sterile after each use, helping maintain all rotation duties on off days and taking the on call phone on the weekends per rotation and meeting emergency patients at the office when needed. Myself along with one other employee are responsible for making sure the clinic runs efficiently by making sure the patients are seated in a timely manor and their appointment is finished by the allotted time scheduled and managing up to 8 employees. I also present treatment plans and answer any questions the patients or parents may have about the treatment process, along with assisting the doctor with new patient exams and taking start/finish photos for record purposes. Scheduling patients as permitted by office schedule and patients schedule, writing referrals, new patient letters and de-bonding letters to referring doctor and/or patient and handling the ordering of all clinical supplies.
