Led team to increase density by 47% within the same footprint in different areas. Delivered cost avoidance of $634K Instituted unique part location system to help decrease search time by 97%. Delivered savings of $170K+ Analyzing potential program to have fragile composite parts sent to a 3rd party vendor to provide stronger packaging prior to campus arrival, designed to help improve damage rates by 90%  Championed an improved safety environment via added visuals, barriers, trainings, SOPs, PPE and physical layout changes to help facilitate man/machine separation and injury prevention  Proposed & granted $2.2M on 5 Capital expense projects related to layout changes, with a calculated ROI of 13.3 months. Main Responsibilty:Regularly work and travel to the Toyota Part Centers across the country to address engineering concerns including mechanical, safety and efficiency. Project examples:  Led the design, vendor selection, installation, testing, and preventive maintenance programs regarding all conveyor equipment and vertical lift machines at 6 PDCs (fulfillment) and 1 PC (distribution) Directed project to select vendors, negotiate costs and provide research to obtain leadership approval, coordinate installation guidelines and standards for ergonomic flooring over 12 facilities. Granted $1.7M Reanalyzed current model for powered industrial equipment (PIE) replacement. Implemented new strategy. Led research for eventual executive grant of $3.2M Participated in the $16M rejuvenation in Toyota’s highest volume facility. Designed equipment installation, SOPs and training of associates. Coordinated between cross functional team Evaluated contract imbalances to find excess payment to UPS & identified unused discount savings. Implemented countermeasures across company. Internship - Improving the coating capabilities within the boardshop. Programming different boards within the conformal coating machine. As circuit boards are placed through the machine, special coding coats the board with a gel that protects the board as it gets installed in different machinery. The coating is crucial to the safety of the product and its well maintenance.

Internship - Worked as a Transportation Engineer. Helped develop a new system of updating, improving and recording delivery information for the Wisconsin area. The knowledge was rolled out across the country to other FedEx hub locations. The routes were optimized to deliver 60% more volume before specific times. Delivered savings of $70K/year

Fabric Care Intern. Worked on improving labeling capabilities on bottles with significant curvature.Developed a testing procedure and manufacturing criteria for the product with a new mechanical labeling device. The results were utilized to better understand the limitations for labeling and could be used as an advantage for advertising while on shelf space against its competitors.
