accounts and finance executive of the P2P (procurement) department in Telenor shared services Pakistan.as an accounts and finance executive, my primary work included managing invoices which fell into our system both in Coupa and ERP. I was to ensure that all the information and due diligence is done for the invoices and they are sent for approval only after all information has been matched. Another crucial task of mine was to ensure that invoice lists or unpaid invoice reminders received by suppliers are all present in our system already, looking where and if they are stuck and ensuring that they get flowed and sent for approval and reaching out to the suppliers for invoice copies in case the invoice is not present.I was also in charge of stakeholder management, ensuring a smooth line of communication between our department and the suppliers as well as any internal department or individuals which had requested services from business units that came within our scope of work. my work also included critical tasks such as creating an Aging report of invoices on a monthly basis, vendor reconciliations, AP-GL reconciliations and any other report which was to be submitted in a timely manner. I, along with my team also provided services for month end closing which was among the high critical tasks of mine, ensuring the closing is done in a timely manner and no errors are made.Telenor had a very accepting and amazing culture and it is truly one of the best companies one can work for, having professionals to guide you and assist you and help you grow every step of the way. As a worker of meezan bank, I was given knowledge about the banking industry as well as the compliance department I worked in.I worked as a compliance officer/ anti money laundering analyst in meezan bank. My primary work included having an area assigned to me where I oversaw bank accounts which had any form of red flag in terms of the anti money laundering act. I had to investigate that matter further, look within every individual account to see the signs and to confirm or negate the red flags in the source. the accounts I oversaw were reported to proper authorities once STR (suspicious transaction reporting) were raised on them. it was a high priority critical form of work which made me learn to work in a stressful environment and manage a work life balance in real time.
