Designed fixtures and supported environmental tests for 737,747,767,787, and 777, including the new 777x program. Direct projects include designing text setups for loaded actuator, clamp tie tensile, puncture resistance, flame, and wire fluid immersion testing.Additionally worked under the Phantom Works group in electromagnetics doing research and design for proprietary programs.Competed in the Boeing Intern Design Challenge with project on sustainable technology

I've been a member of the Cal Poly Society of Women Engineers for three years, and I've served as a Freshman Representative, SWENext Outreach Chair, and now the High School Outreach Chair. I've planned over 7 major events and have personally volunteered at over 20 SWE events. Some of the events I've planned include high school engineering presentations to schools all over California to over 500 students, an engineering design challenge with 7 teams competing, and some projects continuing on to win state awards, and a leadership conference with 50+ students from around California.

Overseeing and developing Cal Poly’s SWENext Network and Subcommittee. Projects and programs include running the SWENext Bi-Weekly Email, organizing the SWENext Leadership Training Conference and Design Challenge, and overseeing the SWENext Mentorship Program and Digital Pen Pals Program. Additionally, facilitating special-requested events for SWENexters including developments with partner schools.

Helping lead the Cal Poly Society of Women Engineers chapter, specifically with corporate, outreach, and freshman member events. Events that I've worked on is Fall SWE Welcome, Spring SWE Welcome, Alumni mixer, and Evening with Industry.

I have been a member of the Cal Poly Prototype Vehicles Laboratory for 1 year. PROVE is a club focused on designing innovative new automotive technology, aiming to break world records and bring sustainable transportation to the table. Our current project is a long-range electric vehicle set to break the world record for the longest distance traveled on a single battery charge. During my time on the Mechanical Team I have spearheaded the accelerator pedal design project, and the firewall design and testing projects. Additionally, this year the team will be returning to our original vehicle, 'Dawn', which is the near-record breaking fastest solar car that gained national attention, and I will be leading projects on this to improve the efficiency of the car and break the world record.

Assisted teaching and grading ME 228 (Engineering Design Communication) in 2D engineering drawings, SOLIDWORKS 3D modeling, and drafting standards. Led weekly tutoring sessions for all introductory Mechanical Engineering classes in hand drafting as well as beginning and advanced SOLIDWORKS.

Helped integration efforts for the ROBE (Rolling on Beyond Line of Sight Enhancement) program for kits in and out of deployment. Streamlined hardware retrofit process through inspecting kits and components with Quality Assurance, inventory configuration, acceptance test procedures & functional tests, and program change requests. Tested the ROBE kits and configured software to test Link-16 and network capabilities. Accomplishments: - Created assembly model, engineering drawing, wiring diagram for program cable. Utilized SOLIDWORKS PDM to learn and reference drafting and wiring standards. - Spearheaded the improvement and performance of Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) for updated software to test various physical and network connections. - Led the development of Bench Test procedure for incoming Airborne Executive Processors (AEP) to be integrated with the ROBE retrofit, as well as executed and approved all tests for new AEP hardware.

Daily roles include cutting flat patterns on the cutting table and producing and finishing carbon fiber, hard urethane, and soft urethane parts. Managed the process of manufacturing composite parts from cutting, layup, baking, grinding, and finishing. Skilled in performing complex, high-quality dry layups. Accomplishments: - designing and testing a bike mount on SOLIDWORKS for the Jackrabbit micro ebike on RAM RV vans as a part of Landed-Gear's partnership with for Jackrabbit.- Redesigned flat pattern for more efficient material use on second-biggest project.

Handling customers on a daily basis and assisting with van accessory installations. This includes proficiency with using tools from the fabrication and auto tech shop.Managing part inventory for all Landed Gear products, overseeing part quality, and managing all shipping of products to both customers and dealers.Additionally, producing parts using composites of silicon, plastic, and carbon fiber for sister company, 3dyn Composites.

Leading the all girls robotics team in Business, Hardware, and Software. Through teaching others about FIRST, I inspire the San Diego STEM Community.Highlights include organizing and hosting a 100+ attendee STEM event, "As Women, We Rise", international connections with other robotics teams, and attending the FIRST World Championships as a Dean's List Finalist

As part of the pandemic pivot, Athena Racing held their first virtual Fabrication Camp. As Student Fabricator, I designed and built (and drove) a 6.5 horsepower drift trike. With a harbor freight Predator engine, a BMX bike, and almost every power tool I could get my hands on, I learned about fabrication and constructed our amazing trike. Additionally, to publicize the camp, I was interviewed on Racer Radio and with Athena Racing’s partners CoinUp. In the end, I helped cohost the camp, teaching over 100 girls from all across the United States (and a few international too!) about not only the building process I went through, but also about being a women in engineering.
