Underwriting Manager
CurrentOwnership of the underwriting function as well as management of the underwriting teamOwnership of contract request function for merchant agreements submitted by the sales teamCollaborate with the sales team in order to report on current status of merchant agreements/applications Create and maintain process, tools and efficiencies of the merchant agreements/underwriting functions within POSaBITMaintain knowledge of rules and regulations to ensure compliance with underwriting standardsResponsible for performance evaluations of staff, anticipation of staffing needs, design and implementation of training programs for the underwriting teamProvide reporting and guidance to the Executive team regarding merchant agreements and underwritingParticipate in strategic planning at POSaBITCollaborate cross functionally with other departments as needed in order to resolve any customer issues as well as proactively drive process and procedure improvements.Assist in escalations as neededManage and report on team KPIs and metrics
