I teach American legal studies at the Schar School of Policy and Government, including courses on Constitutional law and civil rights law. I am also serving as the Faculty Director for the school's Jurisprudence Learning Community.

•Collaborated with President to execute strategic endeavors that advanced the organization’s mission and increased institutional capacity to reduce workplace harassment by implementing stronger corporate policies, establishing better laws, and empowering people to create lasting change in their communities. •Managed staff, consultants, internships, and contractors in executing work projects; led and supervised internal team meetings; crafted long-term and short-term goals for staff and guided team collaboration; developed and oversaw utilization of project management systems, CRM, and donor database.•Oversaw external communications including but not limited to: writing and editing press releases; launching the organization’s educational blog platform titled The Purple Post; drafting and distributing newsletter content through MailChimp and managing a 1,600-person audience; overseeing the organization’s digital presence. •Engaged externally with policymakers, company executives, and industry thought leaders to coordinate the development of joint work products.

Conducted research on emerging trends in workplace harassment prevention. Educated the public on how to create lasting change within their own workplaces. Advocated for stronger corporate policies and better laws regarding workplace sexual harassment.

Led workplace harassment training sessions for Mike Bloomberg’s presidential campaign staff. Provided insight on how to create empowered and inclusive political workplaces. Implemented harassment prevention curriculum and unique management programs.

Participated as a civil mediator in community and court cases, served as a facilitator in restorative justice conferences, and created and presented trainings in community conflict resolution education programs. Spent 4-6 hours per week on site at the Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) in Minneapolis. Observed and participated in CRC community and court mediations, restorative justice conferences, and community outreach programs. Mediated or observed an average of 6 cases during the spring.

Attend hearings and mediation sessions. Conduct legal research, preparation of pleadings, discovery, and interviewing under the principal direction of Senior Trial Attorney, Laurie Vasichek. Gain insight into federal enforcement of anti-discrimination laws.

Researched legal issues and drafted memoranda in areas of law including Employment law, Sports & Media, Business Litigation, Cybersecurity, Government Contracts, and Intellectual Property. Shadowed attorneys in trials, client counseling, mediations, and depositions.

Researched probate and domestic court cases on Odyssey and Westlaw. Prepared probate and domestic summaries for Judge Owdziej’s weekly dockets. Completed tasks delegated by the judicial attorney. Observed pre-trials, trials, settlement conferences, criminal dockets, and other court proceedings. Met with prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges to gain insight into the field of law.
