In this role, I collaborate with senior and technical teams to optimize procurement and logistics, ensuring efficient supply chain operations. I develop and implement procurement plans, oversee day-to-day operations, and maintain material flow while minimizing inventory levels. I continuously evaluate supplier performance, implement risk management plans, and lead bid solicitation processes. Additionally, I ensure compliance with import/export regulations, educate teammates on regulations, and assign KPIs for the procurement and logistics team. I manage purchase order accuracy, monitor and expedite order processes, optimize vendor relationships, and track On-Time/In Full deliveries. My responsibilities also include minimizing demurrage costs, managing inbound/outbound shipments, implementing cost-saving measures, and ensuring proper documentation through electronic archiving in SAP.
