Aided in the organization of the geologic conference GAC-MAC hosted by UNB in May of 2014.Various day trips in the Mount Pleasant area with a colleague gathering samples and obtaining gamma-ray spectroscopy data. Geochemical analysis through the university with the Department of Energy and Mines of New Brunswick using a pXRF (portable x-ray fluorescence) determining what elements were present in the samples collected from Mount Pleasant and in what quantityDay trips to Sussex, N.B with a colleague collecting core samples.Teaching assistant from September 2015 - December 2015 for first year geology labs at UNB for the fall semester and took students around the area to look at different geologic features.

Traveled to Yellowknife, NT from June – July with a colleague collecting samples of granitic pegmatites and obtaining gamma-ray spectroscopy data with the Northwest Territories Geoscience Office and the University of New Brunswick.The samples we collected were then cut in the lapidary using a diamond saw blade.

I organized geology themed summer camps for kids for four different camps (rocks and minerals, natural disasters, field camp, and Jurassic camp). I also provided guided tours of the Fortune Head Geology Centre which took visitors through the history of the geologic time scale and the events that took place within each era. If visitors requested, I also provided a guided tour of the GSSP (Global Stratotype Section and Point) of the Precambrian/Cambrian boundary.
