Project Implementation Manager
CurrentManage the Operations Control Center (OCC) Modification project, to include scope, schedule, design, and implementation of new radio dispatch equipment as part of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) OCC and 490 Relocation Project. Coordinate the deliver, storage, inspection, and management of site materials and system with Contractor and WMATA personnel. Conduct prompt reviews of all Contractor submittals (schedules, designs, materials, etc.) and analyze Contractor transmittals (daily reports) for accuracy. Assist the Project Manager in preparing progress reports as assigned, including PMOC reports. Aid the Project Manager in review and approval of Contractor invoices, ensuring they comply with project documentation requirements. Contribute to the development and evaluation of applicable change orders while analyzing change order documents, including contractor’s request for equitable adjustment, scope of work, basis of estimate, independent cost estimate, preliminary negotiation position, etc. Organize Radio Training with assistance from Contractor for Operations Control Centers, Engineering, and Maintenance personnel. Support project team members in achieving Safety Certification for the radio system equipment for the Operations Control Centers.
