In this role I developed the Commercial Links Service (CLS); a web-service designed to exploit the revenue potential of associate partnerships schemes. Generous revenues can be created by capitalising on the large portfolio of listener that visit one of the many station branded web-sites owned by the business. The system was originally designed to be used with the now/next online-radio functionality and redirect the listener to either the iTunes (JSON) or Amazon (XML) online directories appropriate to the music currently playing. This system has since been fully integrated with all aspects of the online content and revenues in excess of two hundred thousand pounds were predicted in the first year of role out.
