•More than 5 years of work experience with expertise in various facets of procuring materials from national and international markets having worked in Bangladesh and Vietnam•Setting up the monthly procurement plan.•Review of daily stock and material planning to ensure plant does not have to starve for any material.•Taking daily rates of raw materials prevailing in different areas from broker/vendor.•Negotiating price and terms of products with vendors.•Reviewing all contracts/agreements to achieve ‘best price/best quality’ purchasing. •Procurement of raw material from national and international market.•Development of alternative local sources for imported raw materials which helps in cost saving.•Managing a team of 5 members who in turn would prepare & process requisitions, purchase orders & invoices for purchases.•Ensuring timely delivery of supplies by constant follow up from vendors regarding pending purchase orders.•Responding to Broker’s/ supplier’s queries regarding payment, deductions and premiums.•Informing supplier about full / partial rejection and as per their instructions getting the goods unloaded.•Monitoring general purchases as well as purchases for CSR activities.•Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory.•Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills as well as making creditors statement.•Sending raw material projections & daily MIS reports to the Top Management.•Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.•Disposing scrap material, old gunny bags, drums and other miscellaneous items after taking necessary approval from the management.•Letter of appreciation from the Management for the services rendered.
