As a Sales Manager within the CDW Data Center practice I’m responsible for managing a team of pre-sale engineers and solution architects who partner and support CDW account managers to drive profitable growth within our server, storage, virtualization, and cloud categories as well as the services needed to implement data center solutions. I’m focused on providing a clear strategy to deliver to assigned revenue and profit goals while giving executive leadership a clear line of sight into the key performance indicators that determine the overall health of the business.

Greater Chicago Area

Managed a $560 million Printing and Imaging product category. Responsible for driving overall category revenue growth and profitability by establishing pricing strategies, portfolio optimization and competitive positioning for key technologies. Work with strategic vendors to develop marketing strategies and sales enablement programs. Lead a team of 13 and guide activities related to co-op and sales forecasting alignment between partners and CDW Sales and Marketing departments.

Greater Chicago Area

Act as a principle liaison between CDW OEM partners and CDW sales to align customer expectations.Act as subject matter expert of all category partner programs and driving execution and awareness to CDW sales.Manage a team of highly motivated Client Specialists, including performance management, coaching and development.Drive and motivate the client specialists to achieve their revenue growth goals and obligations to all vested parties.Establish the process-related standards, guidelines, principles, governance, tools, methodologies and engagement techniques to drive both internal and external customer experience and drive efficiencies.Utilize available industry data and analysis to drive decisions and direction of team.Drive team members on proactive ideas to help grow their partner’s revenue.
