CurrentDirectly supervise 3 marine cargo claims adjusters and administratively 4 in Australia and Germany to manage all logistics claims for BMW, AG and John Deere/New Holland, IT accounts. Directed overall management and handling of all cargo claims over 15,000/yearly. Responsible for all investigation, adjustments, negotiation, settlement and defense, as needed, for all claims and law suits. Managed third party injury claims, dock/property damage by vessel and/or terminal operator, marine pollution claims, stowaway issues and immigration fines. Manage key national claim accounts such as General Motors, Chrysler, Ford, John Deere, BMW and all other general cargo. Responsible for mitigation of Heavy weather claims and handled litigations as needed. Also, responsible for all third party recovery from Stevedore, terminal operators, trucker and/or rails etc. Routinely mitigated heavy weather damage claims.
