Early childhood hospitalizations sparked a fascination with medicine, leading me on a operational excellence and data-driven path in healthcare! My career began with an innovative, integrated delivery network (IDN) in upstate New York where I learned about and contributed to the strategic planning and operational enhancements for the IDN's hospital, ambulatory, and long-term care service lines. I had the opportunity to manage the operations of a preferred provider organization jointly formed by the IDN and the regional healthcare insurer; an innovative concept that was trialed long before value-based care models.Despite my love for upstate New York, I transitioned to the Philadelphia area to be closer to family and found a new career in patient safety. During my tenure with a patient safety organization, I gained many skills including client management, data analysis, program development and management, leading cross-functional teams, strategic planning, product development, and contract management. My strengths include being a detailed healthcare leader with a proven ability to translate client needs into impactful product strategies. I excel at building relationships, gathering valuable feedback, and leading cross-functional teams. Combining strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making, I ensure products align with market needs and deliver measurable results. My clear communication and persuasive writing effectively articulate complex concepts, securing stakeholder buy-in for innovative solutions. When I am not focused on making healthcare better, I dabble in relieving stress with indoor cycling, saving the world through animal adoptions, feeding the wild bird population, quoting Saturday Night Live skits, and making memories through playing (former band nerd - I admit it) and incorporating music into all aspects of life.
