I worked as a staff pharmacist verifying prescriptions, helping to fill prescriptions, and talking to nurses and other health care professionals to ensure proper therapy for the hospice patient. I also wrote policy and procedure for expired and returned drug destruction and I worked on maintaining the drug inventory and kept up with the CII inventory.

My responsibilities included managing personnel, managing inventory, and managing the financial aspects of the pharmacy business. As PIC, I was in charge of the C-II inventory including purchasing, receiving, and dispensing the medications to our patients. The store was a leader in administering immunizations including TB tests. We were also actively involved with several sync programs with the goal of increasing adherence of our patients and their medications.
